WELCOME TO THE ROTARY CLUB OF SAMUI-PHANGAN
OUR MISSION
To develop and maintain focused sustainable projects which will improve the living conditions, infrastructure and overall quality of life for all people living on these islands. To use our influence and outreach as Rotarians to highlight issues effecting local people and working together with local organizations and individuals to develop solutions. Our Rotary Club takes a varied and flexible approach to problem solving: seeking funding for outside intervention where appropriate but not shying away from hands-on work in the community when requested and deemed necessary.
SUPPORT 4 AUTISM
PROJECT
Raising awareness, financial support and help with activities to support the children’s development and the day-to-day running of the day care facility.
SWIM 4 LIFE
PROJECT
Our first “hands on” project to teach basic swimming and water safety to government school students.
WATER 4 LIFE
PROJECT
Our signature project to provide clean drinking water to all government schools students.
DEFIBS 4 SAMUI
PROJECT
To supply 15 defibs (heart defibrillators) to all public emergency vehicles on the tropical island of Koh Samui. Today there is only 1 defib in the 16 public vehicles which are despatched when emergency services are called.
FOOD 4 LIFE
PROJECT
To provide and distribute essential supplies to local people due to the impact of Covid and the collapse of international tourism.
JOIN OUR TEAM
We are looking for like minded good souls who share in our mission for direct positive action in our community. We want to be joined by people who can offer their time, expertise and positive energy into our vision and projects. Even help us expand into more community action.
YOUR DONATIONS
Your donations are very important and much appreciated by the Rotary Club of Samui-Phangan, Thailand and our community. Donations can be made to our club or to specific projects.
All monies raised or donated are used to fund our chosen projects. There are no administration fees taken from monies raised with all Club expenses being funded by the members themselves. Additionally, we never donate cash to any individual, group or organisation.
